GroupM China and CIC identify ‘Luxury Voice’ in Chinese Social Media

A collaborative research effort by GroupM Knowledge China and CIC has unveiled Chinese consumers’ behavior and interests in interacting with luxury brands in China. Using the foremost social media analytical technologies to collect over 2.7 million consumer comments in the Chinese social media arena, the research findings equip advertisers in the luxury industry to navigate the complex culture and fragmented landscape of China’s digital space, and to effectively participate in the conversation.


CIC officially released new upgraded version of IWOMcooperator (1.2.2) – Social Media Engagement Platform

On the 6th of August, CIC officially released the latest upgrade of IWOMcooperator – Social Media Engagement Platform. In addition to the updated layout and improved user interface, we have also optimized the account summary function, added new analysis models for followers, content, interactivity, groups and so on. Brands can quickly and easily overview the status of their microblog operation, find the most valuable followers, analyze the content and optimize their marketing strategy.

IWOMmaster, China’s first Social Business Support System launched in June 2009, has recently been upgraded. The new version enables IWOMmaster to be even more flexible in meeting the challenges and opportunities of social business. Meanwhile, CIC officially released the open beta version of its Social Media Engagement Platform, IWOMcooperator. The current version enables brands to automatically manage multiple Sina Weibo accounts simultaneously, which promotes cooperation in monitoring IWOM, interacting with fans and analyzing performance through tracking account trends from different angles.
